According to a report by Cosmopolitan, the duo was first pictured together in 2016 attending the Broadway show Fun/Home. However, they never addressed the relationship rumors around them. During a chat with GQ in 2018, Kate McKinnon talked about how she refrains from disclosing her details like her dating status, and said, ”I decided in my mid-20s that I didn’t feel comfortable sharing personal details as I had in the previous few years. And I just have run with that ever since.”
Additionally, there haven’t been many instances when McKinnon and Abbott have been seen together. During her speech at the 2017 Emmys, McKinnon said, ”Thank you, Jack, I love you,” after she bagged the award for best supporting actress in a comedy role, which further fueled the dating rumors. Apart from this duo has never made any mention of any relationship being in between them.
