Noel Gallagher has given the best possible answer to the question of why he fell out with his brother, Liam.
On Thursday (29 August), a family ran into Noel Gallagher at the flagship Stone Island store in London, and four kids got to hang out with the Oasis star, just post-reunion announcement, and ask him some questions.
“Is he getting back with his brother?” one of the kids asked (“Yeah”) before one of the others, holding a teddy bear, asked: “Why did you fall out with your brother?” Gallagher, quick on his feet, responded: “Why did I fall out with him? Cos he stole my teddy bear… He stole it – 1978.”
Gallagher immediately received a great reaction from the kids. The one holding the teddy bear said, “Oh, this is your fave. See ya!” to a laugh from Noel, who called the kid a “legend.”
In another video, Gallagher is seen walking outside with the family. Spin Magazine re-shared the footage on Instagram, crediting the original post from Steve Sheward on X (formerly known as Twitter).
It’s been a big week for Oasis fans, who received the news of a lifetime earlier this week: Noel and Liam have buried the hatchet and announced an Oasis reunion. So far, the brothers have announced tour dates in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin, with extra dates added already “due to unprecedented demand.”

Upon reuniting, a statement on the Oasis website read:
Oasis today end years of feverish speculation with the confirmation of a long awaited run of UK and Ireland shows forming the domestic leg of their OASIS LIVE ‘25 world tour. Oasis will hit Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin in the summer of 2025. Their only shows in Europe next year, this will be one of the biggest live moments and hottest tickets of the decade.
It’s also been confirmed that “plans are underway for OASIS LIVE ’25 to go to other continents outside Europe later next year”.
The reformation confirmation follows the recent revelation that “a deal was put on the table” for the brothers to reunite, with London’s Wembley Stadium and Manchester’s Heaton Park rumoured to be where Oasis would play multiple reunion shows.
