King Stingray are hitting the road again in March and April 2025, with the Aussie legends set to play in stunning venues across the country.
King Stingray: “When We Heard People Singing Back It Was Like, ‘What The Hell?’”
The tour begins at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Friday, 21 March, before they head to Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall (Saturday, 22 March), Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall (Friday, 28 March), Melbourne’s Forum Theatre (Saturday, 29 March), and wrapping up at Perth’s Fremantle Arts Centre on Friday, 4 April.
For the tour, the Arnhem Land band will be joined by some impressive special guests: Beddy Rays and The Belair Lip Bombs.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale tomorrow (10 October) at 10 am local time; the general sale opens on Friday, 11 October, at 10 am local time. You can find more ticketing information on the Handsome Tours website.
King Stingray are touring in support of their forthcoming album, For The Dreams, which will be released on Friday, 8 November, which you can pre-order through Civilians (previously known as Cooking Vinyl Australia).
In March, King Stingray shared the first preview of the record with a soaring and triumphant new tune called Through The Trees. In September, they dropped the single Cat 5 (Cyclone).
Reviewing their show in April 2022, Mick Radojkovic wrote for The Music: “There seemed to be little nerves, despite playing to what is surely one of their biggest audience yet.
“Their songs, representing camp-life, being one people, coming together and generally uplifting subjects, combined with a stomping guitar and driving drums, ensured the rock-thirsty crowd’s appetite was sufficiently whetted.”
The upcoming tour follows King Stingray’s recent regional tour across Australia with special guest Jem Cassar-Daley.
