The 2025 Laneway Festival line-up is here and is set to make a lot of people very happy.
Get ready for a brat summer because the teases about Charli XCX appearing at the festival were real – she’ll be headlining next year’s Laneway in Australia and New Zealand and is a festival exclusive. A press release notes that national landmarks will turn brat-green to celebrate her return in the coming weeks.
Other festival exclusives include singer-songwriter Clairo, indie icon beabadoobee, one of the biggest names in UK dance BICEP presenting their new show CHROMA, and Barry Can’t Swim.
Elsewhere, Laneway has locked in alternative pop star Remi Wolf (who opened for Paramore on the band’s recent Australian tour) and Eyedress, as well as an abundance of artists who have never toured Australia before, including British neo-soul artist Olivia Dean, LA shoegaze outfit julie, hip-hop group Joey Valence & Brae, NYC’s band Fcukers, UK dubstep DJ Hamdi, and electropop artist 2hollis.
In terms of local artists, Laneway includes Skegss, Brisbane band Girl and Girl, and popular electronic artists RONA., STÜM and Ninajirachi. More acts are set to be announced, and the line-up will vary in some cities. You can find those details below.
Laneway Festival Reveals 2025 Dates & Venues, Unveils Ticket Prices
Laneway Festival returns to Australia and New Zealand in February 2025. Beginning in Auckland on Thursday, 6 February, the festival moves to Australia at Brisbane Showgrounds on Saturday, 8 February.
Its Sydney event returns to Sydney Showground on Sunday, 9 February, while Melbourne punters will need to take the day off to attend on Friday, 14 February, at Flemington Park. The festival tour continues at Adelaide’s Bonython Park on Saturday, 15 February, and wraps up at Perth’s Wellington Square on Sunday, 16 February.
On Tuesday, 15 October, at 10 am local time, you can access the Laneway Festival pre-sale while it remains open for 23 hours. Organisers say this is your one shot to purchase tickets at the pre-sale price of $189.90 plus fees before prices go up. The general sale begins on Wednesday, 16 October, at 10 am local time.
