Lazy Dog Restaurants partners with Hangar 24 on an Oktoberfest brew

Lazy Dog Restaurants is partnering with Redlands-based Hangar 24 Craft Brewing for an Oktoberfest-style lager for the Lazy Dog Beer Club’s latest release, Mystic Brews.

The brew is called Bavarian Oracle, with 5.2% alcohol by volume and a rating of 24 on the International Bitterness Units scale, which is on the low end.

The lager has a deep orange hue and aromatics of toasted malt and noble hops, according to a news release.

It is available in Mystic Brews, which is an eight pack with four brews, two cans each. The other brews are Master of Fortune from Full Circle Brewing, Fresno; Destiny’s Hand from Ivanhoe Park Brewing Company in Orlando, Fla.; and Luna Moth Eclipse from Kokopelli Beer Company in Colorado.

Bavarian Oracle is also available on tap in all Lazy Dog restaurants, according to representatives.

Hangar 24 has its own Oktoberfest brew, a limited-release amber lager that is 5.8% ABV and has a 38 IBU rating.
