Celebrated soul singer Lee Fields has announced his plans to ring in 2025. The artist, known for his larger-than-life stage presence and specific knack for entertaining a room, will turn up at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, N.Y., on Dec. 31.
During the impending New Year’s Eve stand, Fields will beckon to his rich songbook, pulling classics and hits while saving space for new material from his 2022 set via Daptone Records, Sentimental Fool–a heartfelt colllection of 12 blues-tinged tracks, which highlight the artist’s unique ability to tap into raw emotions.
Fields’ Bearville Theater celebration will arrive after previously dropped touring requirements, including an Oct. 5 appearance at Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival and an Oct. 20 follow-up during San Francisco’s Summer of Music Series.
Ultimately, the soul musician will participate in a Nov. 10 concert at Highlands Food & Wine Festival in Highlands, N.C., ahead of a break from the stage, which preludes the artist’s New Year’s Eve plans.
