NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Several events celebrating Independence Day are taking place this week across New Mexico. KRQE News 13 has complied the following list of events where fireworks will be set off.
Albuquerque
The City of Albuquerque is hosting a free community event that will feature activities for kids, food, drinks, music and fireworks.

When: July 4, 3-10 p.m.

New Mexico United is hosting a 4th of July Celebration game with post-match fireworks.
Location: Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park

Angel Fire
Angel Fire Resort will have a drone “fireworks” show. Drone light shows are performed by illuminated, synchronized, and choreographed groups of drones that arrange themselves into various aerial formations.

Clovis
Smoke on the Water Fireworks Display
There will be several events including sports competitions, a car show, and live music leading up to the fireworks show.

Elephant Butte/Sierra County
2024 Elephant Butte Fireworks Extravaganza
Friends of Elephant Butte Lake State Park are putting on a fireworks show on the weekend.
Location: Elephant Butte Lake State Park
When: July 6, 8:30 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.
Cost: No gate fees ($5) from 6 p.m. until after the show
Farmington
Farmington is hosting a multi-day celebration for Independence Day. The fireworks display is choreographed to a soundtrack of classic and current patriotic hits and simulcast on KWYK 94.9 FM.

Las Cruces
Celebration Concert and Fireworks
The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department and New Mexico State University are hosting a concert followed by fireworks. There will also be food, drinks and family activities.

Logan
There will be a parade in the morning followed by fireworks in the evening by the Logan Ute Lake Chamber of Commerce.

Village of Los Lunas 4th of July Celebration
The Village of Los Lunas is hosting a 4th of July Celebration with food trucks, live music, a car show and fireworks.

Rio Rancho
The City of Rio Rancho is hosting a parade, live music, and food trucks ahead of the fireworks display.

City of Santa Fe Fourth of July Celebration
The Kiwanis Club of Santa Fe is hosting a free event for the communty. There will be live music, food trucks and other activities ahead of the fireworks.
