Liv Morgan Reveals Her Dream Match for WWE SummerSlam 2025

The current WWE Women’s World Heavyweight Champion Liv Morgan shared her dream matchup for SummerSlam 2025. WWE recently announced that the biggest summer party will be held over two nights.

The promotion revealed that the 38th annual SummerSlam will take place on August 2 and 3, 2025, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This makes it the first SummerSlam to be held across two nights.

The current WWE Women’s World Heavyweight Champion, Liv Morgan, is having a blast with her feud against Rhea Ripley. At present, the former is at the top of the WWE RAW brand in the women’s division. She is also in an on-screen relationship with Dominik Mysterio.

With Morgan having significant success over the past several months, she recently shared her dream for WWE SummerSlam 2025. Morgan, who hails from Elmwood Park in New Jersey, wants to have a mixed tag team matchup with Dominik Mysterio.

Liv Morgan aims for a mixed tag team match against CM Punk & AJ Lee

At WWE Bad Blood 2024, Liv Morgan faced Rhea Ripley in a match to defend her Women’s World Heavyweight Championship. Morgan successfully retained her title by disqualification after Raquel Rodriguez intervened and attacked Ripley to help her. Although Morgan lost the match, she kept her championship due to the disqualification.

After the show, Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio appeared on WWE’s UpUpDownDown YouTube channel (13:28). During the Fanatics Live event following WWE Bad Blood, Morgan revealed her dream match in her home state for WWE SummerSlam 2025. She hopes for a mixed tag team match against CM Punk and AJ Lee in New Jersey.

It will be exciting to see if this dream match materializes, particularly since AJ Lee, CM Punk’s wife, also comes from Union City, New Jersey. While Lee retired from professional wrestling in 2015, this call-out and the upcoming SummerSlam in her home state sparked interest in the possibility of her return.
