Michigan Central Station, the historic transit hub and regional landmark in Detroit, has been shuttered to the public for over 35 years. On June 6, after a six-year restoration by the Ford Motor Company, the titanic facility will open once more. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Detroit’s own Eminem is producing an all-star concert event titled Live From Detroit: The Concert at Michigan Central. Produced in partnership with the rapper’s longtime manager Paul Rosenberg, this special benefit will feature some of Motor City’s biggest stars across a vast array of genres, communicating the rich and varied musical history of the urban center with performances from such icons as Jack White and Diana Ross.

Beyond enshrining major players from Detroit’s renowned garage rock and Motown scenes, The event will honor the city’s foundational contributions to underground hip-hop, techno and classical culture with acts like Slum Village, Theo Parrish and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Other massive acts from the city set to perform include Big Sean, Illa J, Kierra Sheard, the Clark Sisters and Sky Jetta, who will appear alongside non-musical icons from the D like the Lions’ Barry Sanders, Judge Greg Mathis, Sam Richardson and Taylor Lautner. The event will also welcome musical performers from outside Detroit like Jelly Roll, Common, Fantasia and Melissa Etheridge.

The 90-minute show will stream live on Peacock at 8:30 p.m. ET; a one-time rebroadcast will follow on NBC on June 9 at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT.
