Luke Girgis, the co-founder of The Brag Media and former CEO of the company, has revealed his latest venture. Stepping away from music media, Girgis is the new CEO of Providoor.
Providoor is a company that offers “restaurant-quality, delicious dishes” co-created by Australian celebrity chefs and the Providoor team. The dishes are then delivered straight to your door and ready to eat in three minutes.
In a statement posted to social media, Girgis recalled the moment that inspired him: trying his first Providoor meal.
“The first Providoor meal I tried was George Calombaris’ 12-hour slow-cooked lamb—it was a game-changer,” Girgis wrote on Facebook today (30 August). “Straight from my freezer to the oven, and in just half an hour, it felt like I was dining at a fine restaurant. If someone had described that experience to me, I wouldn’t have believed it. That’s when I knew I had to be part of this journey—the product is nothing short of revolutionary.”
Girgis’ statement began, “I’ve joined Providoor as CEO.
“This company is truly remarkable. Years of R&D have gone into creating restaurant-quality meals, delivered straight to your home with minimal prep time, crafted by some of the world’s most renowned chefs.”
Noting that he’s “incredibly impressed” by the Providoor team led by owner Sam Benjamin, Girgis commented that the quality of the products is “unmatched, surpassing any meal service” he’s encountered.
Girgis added, “What’s even more astonishing is that many of these meals are often cheaper than buying the equivalent ingredients from the supermarket.”
So far, Girgis has spent two months with the Providoor team. He ended his statement by expressing excitement about working with popular TV chefs, including Manu Feildel, Marco Pierre White, Anna Polyviou, Luke Nguyen, Gary Mehigan, Silvia Colloca, and more. He also told his followers that if they’re curious about the company, they should send him a direct message for a code.

Vinyl Group reportedly conducted a “thorough review” of The Brag Media, revealing the expectation to save $750,000 on operational costs over the following year.
With Girgis out of the picture, Hunter was named the new Head of The Brag Media, while Brandle was promoted to Head of Content (having previously served as a senior contributor and the Australian correspondent for Billboard).
