Man pleads guilty to Albuquerque plasma donation center shooting

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Richard Baca pleaded aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and armed robbery Wednesday. The charges stem from a 2023 shooting at a plasma donation clinic in Albuquerque.

Police say Baca shot a man in the bathroom of the CSL Plasma on 4th St. Court documents state Baca then carjacked two people to get away. As part of the plea deal, Baca had four other charges dropped. Baca is now facing up to ten years behind bars.
