MedLife announced the signing of the acquisition of the entire package of the Antares Clinic group, one of the most important providers of private medical services in Moldova.
Antares Clinic has been active in the private medical services market since 2006 and offers patients a wide range of investigations, from multidisciplinary consultations for more than 25 medical specialties and laboratory services to complex imaging investigations.
The group consists of 3 large outpatient units located in the cities of Piatra Neamț, Botoșani and Onești, all equipped with high-performance imaging equipment, as well as 2 laboratories located in Piatra Neamț and Botoșani. According to company representatives, in 2023 the unit recorded a turnover of 18.3 million lei.
“Through this acquisition, we are strengthening our position in Moldova, being an area of strategic interest for us. We started to contribute to the development of this market since 2014 with the inauguration of a large clinic in the city of Iași. We later supplemented our outpatient services with laboratory and day hospitalization services, offering subscribers and fee-for-service patients integrated medical services. With this transaction, we will expand diagnostic facilities for patients in the northeast of the country and beyond. We have the largest network of our own medical units at national level, being already present in all cities with over 150,000 inhabitants. We are proud to reconfirm in this way to our investors and shareholders that we have kept our promise to become an alternative private medical system of diagnosis and treatment with a national medical infrastructure.
