Megalopolis Plot – what’s the story about?
Megalopolis’ story follows Cesar Catilina, a highly talented and intelligent artist who wishes to create a utopia favoring idealism and good qualities. However, his efforts are challenged and opposed by Mayor Franklyn Cicero, who is very content with the current status quo that favors negative issues like constant greed and partisan warfare.
However, Franklyn’s daughter and Cesar’s lover Julia, is caught in the middle, as she is torn between loyalty to her father and love for Cesar. Julia is thus put in a unique situation, where she must decide whether Cesar’s vision or her father’s contenment and satisfaction is more important.
