BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) — Bernalillo Fire crews faced a challenging fire on the Pajarito Mesa Saturday evening.
BCFR said they responded to a fire about 4:30 p.m., and a building was engulfed in flames.
Limited road access and lack of fire hydrants made it difficult to get the flames under control, forcing crews to shuttle thousands of gallons of water to the scene.
Crews were able to contain the fire on the property. The cause of the fire has not been released.
