Misavan, a Romanian professional cleaning products company, has expanded in partnership with the Spanish company Quimicas Quimxel SL, inaugurating a new factory following a 10 million euro investment equally supported by both companies. The factory will produce high-quality professional detergents and cosmetics, compliant with current regulations on biodegradability, sustainability, and commitment to a circular economy. The production unit has an annual capacity of 7,200 tons for household and industrial liquid detergents, and 700 tons for cosmetics.
The project was initiated in 2022 and completed last month, making it one of the most modern factories in this field in Europe. The Iași factory will serve as a production hub for concentrated solutions aimed at the domestic market and Eastern Europe, including professional cleaning solutions, retail products, and cosmetics. In the medium to long term, it will also be able to integrate other product categories. The collaboration between Misavan and Químicas Quimxel is based on a partnership of over 15 years, and with the new production unit, the focus will be on developing the Misavan brands and expanding Quimxel products internationally, producing them in an area with significant growth potential.

The Quimxel Romania factory, located in the Miroslava industrial park, covers a plot of 12,000 square meters, with a total area of over 7,000 square meters. The factory includes both production space and office area and storage of raw materials, including a platform for an underground wastewater neutralization station. The facility also features state-of-the-art mixers and reactors and fully automated packaging lines. The final products are transferred to the storage area to be distributed throughout Romania and beyond.
