The popular Mnet show I-Land 2 underwent a change in its broadcasting time before releasing elimination results, along with episode 7. The show is currently in its first part, and the elimination results will determine who will qualify for part 2.
In part 1 of I-Land 2, six contestants got passes from the producers to participate in part 2. The global vote will choose six more contestants from the remaining lineup. After the elimination process, Mnet will resume the broadcast of part 2 from episode 7.
I-Land 2 episode 7 release time changed
Mnet‘s I-Land 2 elimination special will air on June 6, 2024, at 9.30 p.m. KST/ 8.30 a.m. ET/ 5.30 a.m. PT/ 6 p.m. IST. After that, I-Land 2 episode 7 will follow the revised schedule and air at 9.30 p.m. KST/ 8.30 a.m. ET.
After six episodes of I-Land 2, Mnet started its voting process for the first time for global fans. 14 participants, who could not make it to part 2 by the judges’ choice, urged fans to vote for them to qualify for part 2. The voting ended on May 30.
Currently, participants who are already in Part 2 are Mai, Choi Jungeun, Sarang, Saebi, Yoon Jiyoon, and Fuko. I-Landers who moved to the ground are Nam Yuju, Bang Jimin, Koko, Kimm Sujung, Yui, and Lingling.
Kim Minsol, Oh Yuna, Kim Gyuri, Kim Chaeeun, Choi Soul, Park Yeeun, Son Jiwon, and Um Jiwon are already on the ground team. These participants would need the fans’ votes to avoid elimination. The former I-Land members and Ground participants will have equal chances to save themselves through the global vote.
I-Land 2 will continue until episode 10, which will air on June 27, 2024. The grand finale will reveal the top contestants who will make it to the debut team. This team will have chances to showcase their live performances within months of their launch. They will perform at KCON LA 2024 on July 28 on the M Countdown stage.
