The Apple TV+ show takes place in the wake of a massive battle, focusing on two siblings following in their father’s footsteps to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch.
Hailing from Legendary Television, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is co-developed and executive produced by Chris Black and Matt Fraction. Matt Shakman directs the first two episodes and serves as executive producer alongside Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell from Safehouse Pictures, Andy Goddard, Brad Van Arragon, and Andrew Colville.
Known for her acclaimed lead performance in the sci-fi horror film Prey, which garnered a Critics Choice nomination. Midthunder’s other credits include The Ice Road and Rez Ball. Previously, she starred in shows such as FX’s Legion at FX, Roswell, New Mexico on The CW, and Netflix’s live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender. She’ll next be seen in the films Novocaine and Opus.
