More moisture will move into the state today, bringing a better chance for afternoon storms to the mountains, along with some valleys and the central mountain chain down to the Sacramento Mountains.
The same pattern will continue into early next week with more isolated, mostly mountain, afternoon storms through Tuesday.
On Wednesday, drier air will begin moving in from the west, beginning to push out the moisture. This will bring drier weather to almost all of New Mexico for the second half of next week as high temperatures hover near and above normal.
