Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 2 episode 21 recap: Rudeus and Roxy’s bittersweet reunion
Mushoku Tensei season 2 episode 21, “Magic Circles of the Sixth Stratum,” begins where the previous episode had ended. After Rudeus rescues Roxy, the latter thanks Rudeus and asks for his name, making him realize she has forgotten him. This realization makes him sad.
Roxy then reassures Rudeus that she has forgotten his face as she is meeting him after years but remembers him. This makes Rudeus happy, but Roxy hesitates to talk to him.
Rudeus, Paul, and others cross the third and fourth levels of the labyrinth. However, they take it slow, considering Roxy’s reluctance to return to the labyrinth after being trapped for a while.
When the two are alone, Roxy tells Rudeus how she has learned magic to become a Water King-class mage. She had found Paul during desperate times, and he was kind enough to take her to the party.
The following day, the party crosses the labyrinth’s fifth level. However, they see three teleportation circles. After a while, Rudeus remembers seeing a similar room while traveling with Elinalise.
As such, they find a room beneath and descend to discover a hidden teleportation circle.
