Mushrooms and Mega-Wins: Mario Kart Live! Is Coming to Mo’s Desert Clubhouse This Weekend

Mo’s Desert Clubhouse is inviting you to dust off your Nintendo skills this weekend, as Mario Kart Live! will be sweeping through the Burleigh Heads venue.

Unlike playing the childhood-favourite game at home, this event invites you to not only play alongside other punters in a hyped-up environment, but you will also have your own personal backing track – with a live and interactive band soundtracking your every twist and turn.

Serving up the iconic jazz-fusion jingles made signature to Nintendo’s Mario brand, six-piece Melbourne band “Mario Kart Live” promise to re-ignite your love for the game.

Made up of predominantly music students, the group of Melbourne friends carved out their niche during mammoth Mario marathons during lockdown (over the web, of course).

With pub life open once more, Mario Kart Live has become a fun edition moving across Australia.

The six-piece band play all the iterations of the typical Mario Kart jingle, from the starting count-in, to the speeding of tempos, Super Star song, and finishing lap tune.
