Episode 2 of My Sweet Mobster, which premiered on Thursday, June 13, 2024, on JTBC and Viki, sees Seo Ji Hwan (Um Tae Goo) injured after falling down the stairs. After he is admitted to the hospital, Go Eun Ha’s (Han Sun Hwa) company uploads a humiliating video of her and the members of Ji Hwan’s company on social media without her consent. It creates a misunderstanding between Eun Ha and Ji Hwan.
My Sweet Mobster episode 2 further sees the two resolving their misunderstandings. Moreover, it looks like Ji Hwan has started to develop romantic feelings for Eun Ha. The episode takes a serious turn when a company’s milk is announced to be harmful to children, and they begin to get sick after drinking it. Since Eun Ha’s company previously let her promote the milk on social media, the public becomes furious and insults her. However, at that moment, Seo Ji Hwan rushes in to save her.
My Sweet Mobster episode 2: Um Tae Goo saves Han Sun Hwa from public humiliation
The latest episode of My Sweet Mobster resumes the events of episode 1, with Seo Ji Hwan (Um Tae Goo) being admitted to the hospital after falling down the stairs. Although he is out of danger, he breaks his ribs after Go Eun Ha (Han Sun Hwa) pushes him. Despite her actions, Ji Hwan keeps positively thinking about her. He even finishes watching all the children’s videos on her channel. Soon, Ji Hwan starts to hallucinate and sees Eun Ha everywhere inside his hospital room.
Meanwhile, Go Eun Ha comes to visit Seo Ji Hwan in person. While they are inside the hospital room, the other employees at Ji Hwan’s company come to see him. As a result, he hides Eun Ha under a blanket to protect her. Apparently, the employees want to punish her for pushing their boss, but Ji Hwan asks them not to lay a finger on her.
Later in My Sweet Mobster episode 2, Go Eun Ha finds out that her company has uploaded a video on her channel without her consent. However, Ji Hwan’s company members have made her look ridiculous in it. The clip also indicates that ex-cons can never change, and their products may contain harmful substances. When Eun Ha asks her manager to take down that video, he refuses because of the millions of viewers. The video affects Ji Hwan’s company’s reputation, and several stores remove their products.
So, Ji Hwan visits Eun Ha’s office and asks her boss to delete that video from all sites. The latter agrees as he is afraid of company loss and lawsuits. However, he puts all the blame on Go Eun Ha, who has nothing to do with it. It makes Ji Hwan misunderstand her again. He insults Eun Ha for taking the wrong way to earn money, which makes Eun Ha sad. Still, she decides to help their company and steals the original footage of the incident to upload it anonymously. Soon enough, Ji Hwan realizes that it is not her fault.
My Sweet Mobster episode 2 then sees Ji Hwan and Eun Ha having a heartfelt conversation outside the hospital. The two finally resolve their misunderstanding about one another. From Ji Hwan’s expressions, it is clear that he has feelings for Eun Ha.
Toward the end of the episode, the latter rushes to the hospital after discovering that a package of milk she recently promoted has been harmful to children. Her company had asked her to promote the product at the food festival, and she had no idea about the product’s harmful effects. Due to the presence of unhealthy ingredients in the product, many children get hospitalized after drinking that particular company’s milk.
After Eun Ha arrives at the hospital, some of the sick children’s parents recognize her from the promotional video. They begin to humiliate her publicly. One of the parents even throws a milk package at her, but Seo Ji Hean arrives at the right time to save Go Eun Ha.
