Episode 8 of My Sweet Mobster aired on JTBC and Viki on Thursday, July 4, 2024. In the new episode, viewers see Seo Ji Hwan (Uhm Tae Goo) giving the time capsule to Go Eun Ha (Han Sun Hwa). However, he refrains from revealing his identity to Eun Ha. The episode further shows Seo Ji Hwan making a risky plan to save his missing employee, Jung Yoon Taek.
My Sweet Mobster also sees Ji Hwan getting arrested by the police. He is then interrogated by prosecutor Jang Hyun Woo (Kwon Yool). He discloses that he knows about Ji Hwan’s real identity. In the episode, Ji Hwan tries to distance himself from Eun Ha for her safety, which makes Eun Ha quite upset.

Episode 8 of My Sweet Mobster features some action-packed moments. The episode begins with Seo Ji Hwan (Uhm Tae Goo) handing the time capsule to Go Eun Ha (Han Sun Hwa). However, he does not tell her the truth about his identity. Eun Ha is quite happy to see all the items inside the time capsule. Especially the letter she wrote to her childhood companion Hyun Woo makes her go down memory lane.
Then, the episode reveals what happened to Seo Ji Hwan at the hotel in the past. Ji Hwan did not commit any crime. The Cat Company members and their boss, Go Yang Hee, were behind the chaos at the hotel. Ji Hwan sustains a severe injury in that incident. He was brutally stabbed. Thus, when Jang Hyun Woo (Kwon Yool) saw him at the time, he misunderstood the situation and thought that Ji Hwan was the culprit behind it.
In the meantime, the audience sees that the Cat Company’s boss, Go Yang Hee, is preparing to make a massive drug deal. The police, along with prosecutor Jang Hyun Woo, get information on the deal.
Uhm Tae Goo saves Jung Yoon Taek
Later on in episode 8 of the K-drama, Go Eun Ha (Han Sun Hwa) and the members of Seo Ji Hwan’s (Uhm Tae Goo) company find out that Ji Hwan has left alone to look for Jung Yoon Taek. He has been trying to save this missing employee and make him reunite with his little sister for a long time.
Ji Hwan has learned that Yoon Taek’s life is in danger. Go Yang Hee will use him as a hostage in the drug deal. Ji Hwan also knows how dangerous the situation will be. Thus, he does not inform any of his company members about his plan and rescues Yoon Taek alone.
In the process, he successfully saves the man but gets attacked by Go Yang Hee and his men. They almost kill him, but as the police arrive there at the correct time, he is saved. Meanwhile, Go Eun Ha directs the other members to the place and sees Ji Hwan in a heavily injured condition. She also witnesses him getting arrested by the police.
Jang Hyun Woo, who has also been present at the spot, interrogates Seo Ji Hwan. Later on, he is released from police custody. After returning home, Ji Hwan starts to distance himself from Eun Ha as he believes that their closeness can cause her harm. Thus, he behaves quite rudely to her to keep her safe. It makes Eun Ha quite upset.
What happens at the end of My Sweet Mobster ep 8?
Towards the end of My Sweet Mobster episode 8, viewers see Go Eun Ha meeting prosecutor Jang Hyun Woo with the time capsule. She believes that he is her childhood companion. During their meeting, Jang Hyun Woo decides to explain something. However, what he says to her is not revealed in the episode.
At the end of the episode, Go Eun Ha meets Seo Ji Hwan after returning to the house. She tells him that she has finally found the man she has been looking for. Shen then thanks him for everything and tells him that they should not see each other again. The episode ends right there.
