NMDOT repaving project begins along US 550

BLOOMFIELD, N.M. (KRQE) – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) has begun an 80-lane mile pavement rehabilitation project from mile marker 115 to 135. The 45 working day project will involve putting new pavement and striping.

Crews will be working six days a week, Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. NMDOT says one lane will be closed during working hours and the speed limit will be 45 mph. At the end of the work day, all traffic control devices will be removed and the roadway will be reopened.
