Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift‘s relationship remains strong. The high-profile couple, who first sparked romance in 2023, have been spotted at each other’s events worldwide. Swift’s dedicated support for Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs team was evident throughout the 2023 NFL season, culminating in her presence at the Super Bowl. In return, Kelce attended multiple stops on Swift’s international tour.

Travis Kelce’s comment on his partner explained
While Swift’s absence from a few Chiefs games recently fueled breakup rumors, Kelce has clarified that her attendance is not expected to be consistent. This aligns with his previous statements, even before his relationship with Swift, emphasizing that his focus is on the team and his career. In a 2016 video that resurfaced, Kelce explains that his partner does not need to be at every game. He even mentions that he doesn’t expect his parents to be at every game either.
Speaking to WhoSay in the video, Kelce says, “If you’re dating a professional athlete, I do not believe, at least for me, that you have to go to all the games. I mean, there’s 8 home games, 8 away games, plus playoffs.”
However, he did say that he’d want his partner to cheer for him when they are present. He continued, “I need her to cheer when we’re doing awesome, just to make sure that that look is being presented to everyone.”

It’s a no-brainer that his eight-year-old statement would stand for his current partner as well. So, any thoughts or speculation regarding their alleged breakup, because Taylor Swift was not at the recent Chiefs games, should be dropped.
Both Swift and Kelce are professionals having successful careers in different fields. While they continue to support each other publicly, it’d be understandable if they miss a few of each other’s respective events. After all, they have their own individual career-related schedules and contracts to follow as well.
Furthermore, TMZ reported that sources close to the couple have confirmed that they are still together. So, Taylor Swift being MIA at two of Chiefs games shouldn’t mean she and Kelce aren’t together anymore.
