Lab 9 Films has revealed an official trailer for yet another new documentary about UFOs – this one called The Program. Ever since the US government started actually talking openly about UFOs, now officially known as UAP (“Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena”) sightings, Ufologists have been going crazy. They’ve gone beyond conspiracy drifting into full-on “it has to be true!” irrefutable belief. Of course. The Program is yet another new UFOs / aliens-are-real film from filmmaker James Fox, who also made The Phenomenon and Moment of Contact in the years before. Featuring narration by Peter Coyote (Bitter Moon, E.T.). The doc includes “extensive interviews with insiders, experts and politicians. Christopher Mellon, the former deputy assistant secretary of defense for intelligence, and Stanford University’s Dr. Gary Nolan, [are] among those who appear in the doc.” It’s another doc about extraterrestrials that now wants to dig into the question: is there a big government program keeping the truth a secret?
