After watching season 1 of Oshi no Ko, you can start reading from Chapter 41 (Volume 5) of the manga.
The first season ran for a total of 11 episodes. The eleventh episode covered Chapters 38 to 40, which is part of The First Concert arc.
With season 2 coming up as part of the summer 2024 anime lineup, some fans might want to start reading the manga before the anime comes out. For fans who are worried if they are missing out on anything by not reading the manga, the anime adaptation is pretty faithful to the manga.
Oshi no Ko Season 1 manga chapters
Season 1 of Oshi no Ko adapted Chapters 1 to 40. It adapted the following arcs: Prologue: Childhood, Show Business, Dating Reality Show, and The First Concert.
For those who have the manga in volumes, Season 1 covers Volumes 1 to 4 of the manga.
Oshi no Ko is a manga series by Aka Akasaka, who is also the author of Kaguya-sama: Love is War. Mengo Yokoyari (Scum’s Wish) illustrates the art. In April 2020, Shueisha started serializing the manga in their Weekly Young Jump magazine. As of writing, there are 14 volumes available in Japanese. Meanwhile, there are six volumes available in English.
Doga Kobo produces the anime adaptation. The first season aired in April 2023. The series is available to stream on HIDIVE.
