Paramount Plus’s new TV and movie releases for October 14-20 2024 include NCIS Season 22, NCIS Origins, and S.W.A.T. Season 8.
On Monday, October 14th, NCIS Season 22 and NCIS: Origins will be available on Paramount Plus. NCIS is a long-running crime mystery-drama series that follows the lives and work of special agents investigating crimes connected to Navy and Marine Corps officers, regardless of their rank or position.
Meanwhile, NCIS: Origins is a prequel set in 1991. It follows the early career of Officer Leroy Jethro Gibbs, who first appeared in NCIS, played by Mark Harmon. In this series, Gibbs, played by Austin Stowell, navigates his fledgling career as a special agent under the mentorship and guidance of Mike Franks.
On October 18, S.W.A.T. returns for its eighth season. The police crime-drama series helmed by Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan, follows a local S.W.A.T. cop torn between loyalty to his team and the streets when assigned the job of running a highly-trained unit who are Los Angeles’ last hope of solving crimes.
Also dropping on Paramount Plus this week are the first three seasons of Tyler Perry’s The Oval. The show follows a seemingly perfect interracial first family, who become the White House’s newest residents. However, their perfect image masks an environment plagued with deception and corruption.
