Raveena Tandon‘s latest movie, Patna Shuklla, is a story of a lawyer trying her level best to bring justice to a young girl wronged by the education system.
Directed by Vivek Budakoti and Rajendra Tiwari, it also stars Sristi Keshri, Manav Vij, Satish Kaushik, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Anushka Kaushik and Raju Kher among others. Arbaaz Khan Production Private Limited produced the courtroom drama. Patna Shuklla was made available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar on March 29, 2024.

Patna Shuklla ending: Was Savita lying?
Raghubir Singh, along with his lawyer Neelkanth Mishra, tried everything to kill off Tanvi’s will and win the case. Raghubir even got her husband, Siddharth, fired and sent a bulldozer to demolish the illegal section of her building. When these threats were ineffective, Neelkanth systematically tire down Tanvi Shukla’s case. He exposed Rinki’s bribes given to authorities to manipulate her attendance records, questioning her credibility and the basis of her case.
Upon Tanvi’s presentation of Savita Yadav, who had previously claimed that Mr. Srivastav had swapped Rinki’s roll number with Raghubir’s, Neelkanth proved her to be a liar. He revealed that Savita was absent on the day the roll numbers were allegedly exchanged and accused Mr. Srivastav of molestation.
Since she had not received justice for it, her motive to use Rinki’s case for her personal vendetta seemed possible. Unfortunately, Judge Jha sided with this argument, weakening Tanvi’s case. It was later revealed that Savita was working with Neelkanth and had intentionally misled Tanvi.
What did Tanvi’s father reveal?
Tanvi had sadly used up all her resources by this point. Neither she nor her husband had funds at their disposal. When their son, Sonu, fell ill and had to be hospitalised, Tanvi’s father lent them money to ensure Sonu received the required treatment. Seeing them in such financial troubles, Tanvi’s father asked her to drop the case, which only escalated further tension between them.
Her father even admitted that she was never intended to be a lawyer. He revealed that, to fulfill her dream of becoming a lawyer, he swapped her roll number with that of Zaibuddin Ansari. His actions led Tanvi to pass her exams while Ansari failed. Tanvi was devastated upon learning that her dreams were built on a lie. Nonetheless, she used this revelation to prove that roll number swapping was an age-old practice.
Does Tanvi win the case?
During the end of Patna Shuklla, Ansari appeared in court and revealed his truth. Tanvi, too, took the witness stand and admitted to unknowingly benefiting from the scam. She admitted to keeping Ansari from the opportunity to become a lawyer.
When Neelkanth urged Jha to dismiss the entire case due to Tanvi’s fraudulent degree. However, Jha noticed that such malpractice was an existing issue in the education system. He wanted to bring change, starting with the reevaluation of Raghubir and Rinki’s exam papers by an unbiased panel of teachers.
At the end, justice was served. Raghubir realized he couldn’t contest in the upcoming elections as the reevaluation would cause him to fail.
