ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – As plans get underway for next year’s Balloon Fiesta, some lucky visitors got to take a little piece of the annual celebration back home with them. Pins serve as a memento or souvenir for Balloon Fiesta visitors with a pin for every event following this year’s theme of “Embrace the Sky.”
In addition, there’s a pin for each special shape made through the Plano Pin Company. There are roughly 200 pins made for the event and through the years, there was a need to validate the authenticity of the hardware.
Balloon Fiesta posters are also key to capturing the unique theme of each year and an opportunity to collaborate with the community. The items Balloon Fiesta produces every year have brought people from all around the world together.
The design process for the pins will also begin after the New Year celebrations and are available for sale towards the beginning of the summer.
