ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The 52nd annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is now underway and will run until October 13, 2024. With gates opening at 4:30 a.m. each day, attendees are sure to be looking for a great breakfast spot. KRQE asked viewers via social media who has the best breakfast burrito at Balloon Fiesta.

The overwhelming majority of answers belong to Blake’s Lotaburger, with almost 60% of viewers polled listing the Albuquerque-based chain as their favorite place to get a breakfast burrito during Balloon Fiesta. Blake’s boasts over 35 locations in Albuquerque and 65 locations across New Mexico, cementing the chain’s legacy in the Land of Enchantment.

One viewer preferred Hatch Chile Shack, claiming the stand “has the best chile relleno burrito, ribbon fries [with] green chile!”
