The anticipation for Mirzapur Season 3 has reached a fever pitch as fans eagerly await its release. Recently, the makers dropped a teaser, hinting that the upcoming season will center around themes of vengeance. Fans are looking forward to the full-fledged trailer, and the streaming platform has recently announced its release date.
The teaser indicates that makers will premiere Mirzapur Season 3 on July 5, 2024. Moreover, it also teased Kaleen Bhaiya’s return to Mirzapur to reclaim his throne from Guddu Bhaiya.
In a statement hinting at the plot, Amazon Prime Video wrote, “With Season 3, the stakes are many notches higher and the canvas has become bigger. However, the rules remain the same as all eyes are on the coveted throne in the fictional world of Mirzapur. Trust is a luxury no one can afford as the big question looms whether the throne or Gaddi of Mirzapur will be earned or snatched in a battle of power and dominance.”
When will the Mirzapur Season 3 trailer be released?
Amazon Prime Video recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a new poster and the trailer release date, set for June 20, 2024. The poster features key characters played by Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, and Anjum Sharma. However, fans of Divyenndu are disappointed because the upcoming season will not feature his character Munna Bhaiya.
In an interview with Humans of Bombay, Divyenndu revealed that he opted out of Mirzapur Season 3 due to the intense impact the role had on his mental health. He stated, “When I was in character, it was affecting my personality a lot. We shouldn’t over-romantize going too deep into a character because it is not easy. At times, it used to get really dark for me. I felt suffocated. It’s so tricky that you don’t even realize that you are in that zone. It’s only when you come out of it do you realize how dark it was.”
