AREA is a partner and supporter in efforts of private property owners in downtown Albuquerque to explore a potential creation of a downtown Business Improvement District (BID). Downtown’s across the country utilize BID’s as a tool to enhance the area. AREA says a BID in Albuquerque could increase safety, enhance maintenance & beautification, improve marketing and events, advocate for the property owners and more.
