Pups compete in costumes at Rail Yards Market

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Rail Yards Market guests were treated to a parade of pooches in colorful costumes.

With Halloween just around the corner, the market held its annual costume contest for dogs. Last year’s winner was there, and she was hoping her little shark would capture the win again this year.

“One, year we saw they we’re having a Halloween there very active in social media, on Instagram, so I was like, ‘Let me enter him his first year.’ His first year, he was a sushi, and he won, so we’re hoping that maybe this year he’ll win, but who knows? There’s always like such good competitors,” said Angela Bravo, whose dog won previously.

If you missed the fun this weekend, you better hurry, the Rail Yards Market closes for the season at the end of the month. They are open on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
