Rachel Zegler in New Years Eve Party Comedy ‘Y2K’ Bonkers Trailer

“Bye bye, human race.” A24 has unveiled an official trailer for Y2K, a big party comedy marking the feature directorial debut of comedian Kyle Mooney. It’s ready for release in theaters in December just before New Years at the end of this year. It premiered at the 2024 SXSW Film Festival to great reviews though some negative ones, too. Two high school nobodies make the decision to crash the last major celebration before the new millennium on New Year’s Eve 1999. The night gets even crazier than they could have ever dreamed when the clock strikes midnight. The hilarious NYE horror comedy stars Rachel Zegler, Jaeden Martell, Julian Dennison, and Alicia Silverstone, also featuring The Kid Laroi, Tim Heidecker, and Fred Durst. Reminds me of Bodies Bodies Bodies at first glance, though it also looks like it’ll be as crazy as This is The End.
