Rain chances return for some parts of NM

We saw some moisture return to New Mexico today across northern and western parts of the state. Overnight, these showers will move out, leaving a few clouds and potentially some fog across portions of the northern mountains for Sunday morning.

On Sunday, more moisture will move into the state, bringing a better chance for afternoon storms to the mountains, along with some valleys and the central mountain chain down to the Sacramento Mountains. Temperatures will also begin a warming trend this weekend.

The same pattern will continue into early next week with more isolated, mostly mountain, afternoon storms through Tuesday.

On Wednesday, drier air will begin moving in from the west, beginning to push out the moisture. This will bring drier weather to almost all of New Mexico for the second half of next week as high temperatures hover near and above normal.
