Rams WR Puka Nacua (knee) returns to practice in limited form

LOS ANGELES — Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua participated in practice on Monday for the first time since injuring his knee on Aug. 4 in a joint practice with the Chargers.

Nacua did not partake in full team activities, but participated in individual drills, moving around in motion and making cuts while catching balls from assistant coaches and quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Last week, Nacua had been limited to sideline activity with trainers.

Cornerback Darious Williams (hamstring) also participated in practice for the first time since his injury in the opening week of training camp. Head coach Sean McVay said he expects Nacua and Williams to both be ready for the season opener against the Detroit Lions in two weeks.
