Recent high school graduate found dead in Rio Arriba County

RIO ARRIBA COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – An 18-year-old was found dead with a gunshot wound in Rio Arriba County on the afternoon of Sunday, June 2. According to the Rio Arriba Sheriff’s Office, the shooting death of recent high school graduate Trent Greene is being investigated as a homicide.

The sheriff’s office reported that Greene’s body was found near the intersection of State Highway 595 and State Road 96, north of Regina. Greene graduated from Cuba High School just weeks before his death.
