Romanian Assumes Role of Danone Central and Eastern Europe CEO

Danone Romania announces the appointment of Adrian Valentin Pascu as General Manager of Danone Central and Eastern Europe, starting on June 1, 2024. In addition to the new role, Adrian Valentin Pascu also retains the position of General Manager of Danone Ukraine.

Adrian Valentin Pascu started his career at Danone Romania in 2004, as Regional Sales Manager. Throughout his career he made a significant contribution to the growth and development of the Danone business in Romania, holding various management positions, including Country Manager for Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova and the Adriatic Countries. In 2020, he was appointed General Manager of Danone Ukraine, and since January 2024, he holds the position of General Manager of Danone Ukraine and Vice President of Sales for Central and Eastern Europe.

“I am honored to take on this new responsibility right in the anniversary year when Danone Romania celebrates 25 years of local production in the yogurt factory in Bucharest. My objective is to further invest in Romania and develop the Danone product portfolio, maintaining the most high standards of quality and safety We will continue the company’s mission to bring health through food to the region we lead and we will place a special emphasis on sustainable practices, integrating social and environmental responsibility in all our activities trust for the communities in which we operate and I want Danone to continue to bring a positive impact in society and be a reference model in the food industry,” said Adrian Valentin Pascu, General Manager of Danone Central and Eastern Europe.

In his new role, Adrian Valentin Pascu will coordinate Romania, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Ukraine, Moldova, Albania and the Adriatic countries and three business categories: fresh dairy products, plant-based products and baby and medical nutrition.
