WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin sent a message following Ricochet’s possible last appearance in WWE. Ricochet, who is set to leave WWE, had his potential final appearance on RAW. He was brutally attacked by Bron Breakker after coming to the aid of Ilja Dragunov.
Ricochet, carried out on a stretcher in an ambulance after the brutal attack by Bron Breakker, had his fiancée, Samantha Irvin, witness the horrific scene. She rushed backstage to be with him following the attack. Later, Irvin posted a picture of her and Ricochet on her Instagram account.

She found it crazy that some fans in the comments implied Ricochet looked fine. Irvin ended the video by stating that people should take more pictures with their loved ones when support is needed.

WWE RAW witnessed Samantha Irvin rushing backstage following Ricochet’s attack. Irvin’s emotional reaction was shown on the show as she hurried backstage following the assault. She was also spotted in the ambulance with tears in her eyes as her fiancé was carried out on a stretcher. This led to Irvin leaving the show with her fiancé, leaving no ring announcer for the main event match, which featured Drew McIntyre and Finn Balor.
However, while Samantha Irvin was absent from the show, WWE commentator Pat McAfee stepped in and took over the announcements. McAfee interacted with both McIntyre and Balor during the main event as they made their way to the ring. McAfee referred to McIntyre as “a big handsome bastard from Scotland” and announced Balor as having “zero percent body fat on a 225-pound frame.”
McAfee’s hilarious introduction on RAW received heavy praise from the fans in Samantha Irvin’s absence.
