SANTA FE COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – A new center that is expected to help improve emergency responses in Santa Fe County is now open.
Officials held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Santa Fe Regional Emergency Communication Center on Monday. The state-of-the-art emergency dispatch center equips dispatchers with cutting-edge technology, including modernized dispatch consoles and redundant systems.
The advancements ensure that 9-1-1 services remain operational even in emergencies, enabling a quicker and more efficient response to critical situations, according to Santa Fe County.
