Santa Fe Police searching for shooting suspect

SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Santa Fe police are asking the public for help finding a suspect in a shooting that occurred on June 27. Police said officers responded to the area of Harrison and Cerrillos for reports of a shooting and found a 37-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in a white NFL Raiders sweatshirt, dark colored shorts, white shoes and a dark mask covering his face. The suspect fled in a dark blur Honda Accord with New Mexico plates, tinted windows, a sunroof and silver rims. The victim was transported to the hospital and listed in critical but stable condition. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Santa Fe police.
