The search continued Wednesday for an elderly Colton couple and their dog Cuddles, who went missing from a nudist resort over the weekend.
Dan Menard, 78, and his wife Stephanie Menard, 73, were last seen at their mobile home on the 26000 block of Keissel Road around 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, police said. They were reported missing Aug. 25 by a friend who was on his way to church and would regularly accompany them, Brian Cleland, a co-owner of Olive Dell Ranch said.
The couple’s vehicle was found unlocked down the street, and Stephanie’s purse was found inside the RV residence, along with Daniel’s cell phones. Cuddles, a small white Shih Tzu, was also missing, the Redlands Police Department said.

Daniel is diabetic and suffers from dementia, police said. Stephanie requires a cane to walk around, the co-owner said.
“Their disappearance has sent shockwaves through the community, leaving loved ones and friends deeply concerned. We do not understand or know why they would be missing,” Cleland wrote in a GoFundMe post.
The Olive Dell Ranch is located in a canyon area that falls under the jurisdiction of the Redlands Police Department, who is handling the investigation, Colton Police Lt. Ray Mendez said.
Police could not comment on whether foul play or a medical emergency was involved, Public Information Officer Carl Baker said.
