On June 1 and 2, K-pop trio VIVIZ (formed by ex-GFRIEND singers Eunha, SinB and Umji) kicked off their ‘V.hind Love and Tears’ world tour at the KBS Arena in Seoul. On the first night of the concert, GFRIEND’s Sowon, Yerin and Yuju attended the show in support of their former bandmates.

While the three idols were part of the audience, they made a brief appearance on screen as a spotlight and camera turned to them during the concert, during which they danced to VIVIZ’s November 2023 single ‘Maniac’.

Later, GFRIEND’s former dance teacher and choreographer Park Jun-hee shared an Instagram post about the show, including a photo with all six members of the group backstage.

“#10YearsAgo, the kids who came to the practice room wearing school uniforms talked about what it would be like if they had a concert later… It was a moment where I briefly pictured what it’d be like with them standing on stage ten years later,” wrote Park.

“The combination of GFRIEND was loud and lovely as always,” she added, affectionately referring to the group as her “beagles”. “I’m proud of you girls for living well and being healthy.”

GFRIEND originally debuted under Source Music in 2015. Formed by Sowon, Yerin, Yuju, Eunha, SinB and Umji, the group went on to release hits like ‘Rough’, ‘Navillera’, ‘Sunrise’ and more. In May 2021, all six members left Source Music upon the expiration of their contracts, effectively disbanding the group.

Later that year, Eunha, SinB and Umji signed with BPM Entertainment and shared that they would be re-debuting as a trio. VIVIZ made their official debut in February 2022 with their mini-album ‘Beam of Prism’.

In a 2022 episode of VIVIZ SCAN, SinB revealed that the group only found out that they would be disbanding a month prior the news was made public, calling it the “hardest time” of her life.
