She-Hulk Season 2 Gets Update from Producer

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Season 2 gets an update from producer Wendy Jacobson, who opened up about how the Disney+ series could continue.

What’s been said about She-Hulk Season 2?

Jacobson said she doesn’t know whether She-Hulk will return for more episodes. But the producer did speak about what she loved about the character, mentioning how the protagonist is just a woman trying to live her life and manage her career and friendships. She also offered insight into what a second installment of the MCU show could focus on if it did happen.

Jacobson’s comments came during an interview with Comicbook.com in which she was promoting Deadpool & Wolverine. She said: “I mean if we’re doing more She-Hulk . . . What I love about She-Hulk is just kind of being in this character’s everyday life. It’s a woman in her thirties, trying to navigate her life and her career and her friendships, and oh, she just happens to also be able to turn into a Hulk. So, I think I would love to explore more of that. There’s also a run in the comics where she goes into space and she’s adjudicating cases for the Living Tribunal. So, I either want to be super, super grounded in L.A., or I want to take her out into the multiverse or into the universe.”

The producer’s comments come after lead star Tatiana Maslany cast doubt on the possibility of She-Hulk Season 2, saying in January: “I don’t think so. I think we blew our budget, and Disney was like, ’No thanks.’” However, at this point, the comedy adaptation has yet to be officially canceled.

Consisting of ten episodes, the story of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law centered on Jennifer Walters. An attorney specializing in superhuman-oriented legal cases, Jennifer has to deal with the complications of life as a 30-something who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.

Along with the Golden Globe and Emmy-winning Maslany, the cast included Mark Ruffalo and Tim Roth. They reprised their respective roles as Bruce Banner/The Hulk and Abomination. The cast also included Jameela Jamil, Ginger Gonzaga, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Josh Segarra, among others, with Charlie Cox also appearing in the series as Daredevil.

The project hailed from head writer Jessica Gao, the Emmy winner behind the popular Rick and Morty episode “Pickle Rick.” The episodes were directed and executive produced by Kat Cairo and Anu Valia.
