Sierra Ferrell has unveiled a new rendition of her Trail of Flowers standout, “American Dreaming,” the emotive expression for self-care and personal preservation, serves as a lyrical correspondence of unabashed adaption in the wake of generational uncertainty. Tapping into a familiar spirit as fellow tracklist feature, “I Could Drive You Crazy,” today’s release showcases Ferrell’s live capacity and sheer talent as a performer.

A centerpiece of Ferrell’s live show, the alternative version of “American Dreaming” enters as the artist continues to deliver sold out concerts with an implied emotional ooze of nearly 50,000 folks a la a prior meet up with fellow country favorite, Zach Bryan, and during her own headlining appearances. Taking on more and more meaning with each play, the song demonstrates Ferrell’s tenacity for delivering profound concerts helmed by her sage voice and lived experience.

Todays’ release arrives ahead of Ferrell’s milestone performance billed for Sunday, June 30, when she will sing the National Anthem at Super Speedways Ally 400 NASCAR Cup Series race in Nashville, Tenn. The perfomance and subsequent race will be broadcast live on NBC at 2:30 p.m. CT.
