Unbeknownst to them, a mental patient and former actor kills the attendant and sneaks out of the hospital, hiding inside Betty’s car and returning with them to the theater.
The film was written by Lew Cooper and Sheila Goldberg, and directed by Michele Soavi. StageFright features Barbara Cupisti, David Brandon, Robert Gligorov, Mary Sellers, Giovanni Lombardo Radice, James Sampson, and Domenico Fiore, among others.
