In an interview with Decider before the premiere of Season 2, Jackson White was asked if Stephen loves Lydia or if he is just seeking revenge. White said it’s a mix of both. He stated, “Gosh, it’s hard to say. I think he genuinely finds something he loves or admires in the people he’s dating, but there’s like this certain layer — maybe that’s even part of the manipulation, is he’s manipulating himself. He’s so deep, man. He’s so messed up. So I feel like, it’s probably both.”
While Lucy has moved into her life with a new boy named Max, it appears that Stephen is not done toying with her. Additionally, it has been revealed that he has been trying to pit Lucy and Diana against each other.
