Temperatures heating up around New Mexico

Monday morning is clear and quiet. Temperatures are starting from the 40s, 50s and 60s. Monday will be a quiet start to the week. Skies will be mostly sunny and dry, statewide. Temperatures will be warmer than normal, climbing into the 80s, 90s and 100s. Winds will be light.

We will warm up daily, through late-week, as high pressure builds over the Southwest. Temperatures will even close in on 100 degrees in Albuquerque, and 110 degrees in Roswell by Thursday. Winds will stay light all week, with the exception of thunderstorm wind gusts. We will see increasing storm activity throughout the week, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday being the stormiest days across the state.
