The Thai drama A Love So Beautiful made its premiere on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 8:30 p.m. ICT on GMM25. It follows the story of childhood friends Chadjen (Dew Jirawat Sutivanichsak) and Som-O (Prim Chanikarn Tangkabodee), who eventually turn into lovers. A Love So Beautiful episode 1 begins with Chadjen and Som-O taking a stroll in the park where the latter confesses her love. The episode then takes viewers fourteen years back when Som-O was just a kid. She narrates and introduces her next door neighbor, Chadjen.
After waking up little Chadjen, Som-O continues to narrate and says the two went to the same kindergarten and class. The episode then fast-forwards to ten years later. This time, Chadjen is the one who wakes up Som-O for school. Later, Som-O’s mother asks Chadjen if she has any friends now in high school. On the other hand, her father asks Chadjen to keep an eye on her so nobody messes with her.
At school, Tao asks the new guy, New, to sit next to him in class. Meanwhile, Chadjen and Som-O are late to school and are stopped by a teacher, who notes their student numbers. When they get too close, Som-O sits next to Khao, who asks the former about her “hot friend,” Chadjen. Later, the homeroom teacher asks the students to write a letter to the friend sitting next to them. Chadjen soon becomes popular as the class president, Lily, clings to him.
Later at the library, New finds Som-O and asks if she’s writing a letter to Chadjen after seeing his portrait. He adds that the assignment is to write a letter to a new friend, not an old one. Som-O then says she’s only writing an extra letter. New then asks for Som-O’s help to find the girl from the morning who helped him find his glasses after he fell. As he doesn’t see her face, he writes multiple letters and asks Som-O to hand them out. The latter then asks New’s help with her letter to Chadjen.

Som-O jumps in the middle when she sees Lily and Chadjen walking side by side. Lily then hands Chadjen a letter and says she wants to get to know him. Following that, Som-O reads a poem to Chadjen, who takes it as a joke.
Later, the former recites the lines she wants to say while giving the letter to Chadjen. Tao, who was passing by, overhears her. Som-O then sternly tells him not to tell anyone anything he heard. Later, after class, she keeps a letter in Chadjen’s bag.
Furthermore, Som-O gives New’s letter to the first girl, but she doesn’t react positively. Right when Chadjen is about to read the letter, the students rush out as there’s a fight going on. The boys ganged up against New and Som-O after they gave the letter to Maple. They even read his letter out loud in front of everyone. Khao and Tao jump in to support New and Som-O when things get heated. Chadjen then says teachers are coming, and the students run away. Later, New realizes it was Khao who helped him with his glasses.
In class, the teachers collect all of New’s letters from Som-O. After handing them, the latter realizes her letter to Chadjen is among them, with his portrait illustrated on it. When Mr. Yong begins to question, Tao says that the letter is his. Chadjen then argues that those aren’t love letters as all the students have one, being part of their assignment.
Mr. Yong then scolds the students, calling the letters inappropriate. As the students continue to argue, Mr. Yong gets angry and walks away. The homeroom teacher then collects all the letters and keeps them in her cabinet.
The homeroom teacher ordered Som-O, Chadjen, Tao, New, and Khao to clean the class later as their punishment. Furthermore, Som-O tries to find her letter to Chadjen but is unsuccessful. Later, while taking a cab home, Som-O thanked Chadjen for speaking up for her. After she falls asleep on his shoulder, Chadjen takes out Som-O’s letter from his bag.
