Syfy has shared the official The Ark Season 2 trailer for the upcoming return of its sci-fi drama, starring Christie Burke (The Haunting of Bly Manor). The next installment is slated to premiere on July 17, 2024.
“The series takes place 100 years in the future when planetary colonization missions have begun as a necessity to help secure the survival of the human race,” reads the logline. “In Season 2, after the brave crew of Ark One reaches their destination and finds it uninhabitable, they must survive long enough to locate a new home for themselves and all the ships that follow.”

What happens in The Ark Season 2 trailer?
In the Season 2 trailer, the crew of Ark One continues their search for a habitable planet where the human race can survive. However, their search leads them to various challenges that will make their mission even more complicated than it already is.
The Ark stars Christie Burke, Richard Fleeshman, Reece Ritchie, Stacey Read and Ryan Adams. It hails from Dean Devlin (Independence Day, Stargate) and Jonathan Glassner (Stargate SG-1), who are both serving as co-showrunners and executive producers alongside Marc Roskin and Rachel Olschan-Wilson of Electric Entertainment. During its first season, the show managed to garner 6.5 million viewers across all platforms and became a hit for Syfy.
